I never learned

I am dumbfounded, Expecting for something that's meant everything. You left me hanging, left me with nothing but an unanswered conflict that ended everything. Yet here I remain, still in search for an answer. Hoping to solve that conflict of ours. Knowing you'd never seek a reason to come back, Yet I still hope that you'd do. Everything feels so uncertain. Waiting feels like an eternity. I chose to give up, I really did.. Thus leading for I to yearn for your return.. Now I'm certain, Everything was nothing more than a broken dream I've never gotten to finish.. I gave up searching for the answer.... You never cared, yet I never learned..
