I need you
"Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the most mediocre of them all?" "A jack of all trades yet master of none is the title reserved for you." A truth in my mind but a surprise to all and none at the same time. I could learn and learn and never be up to par with it. In my mind's eye I see a figure behind frosted glass, they look happy. They seem to be looking back, maybe the same point of view as mine. When I reach out to touch the glass it feels far yet desperately close, something familiar yet different. The figure never reaches back, disinterested. Maybe we can sense each other, glass separating us from becoming one. The truth is seeking the idealized.
