I miss you. pt.2
Stop crying. What my mother said a day after I had found out. Crying is not good for you. Bottling up your emotions and moving on is the only way to get through anything. If we are too attached to the grief and loss of the past, we will miss so much of the future. Selfish. The first word that popped in my head after the first tear left my eyes. How could I be crying when I have only known you for ten months? My tears run down my face when I should be comforting your family. Your friends. The people that have known you a lot longer than I have. They are the ones holding me while I cry instead of the other way around. Your house. Being invited to your house without you there made things all the more real. Your grandma saying how you've moved on to greater things, while your mom hands me photos she had printed off of us. Exchanging memories that later will be shared at your funeral while all of our tears fell like heavy rain on the floor.
