I miss you
Life is funny: The way it seems impossible, Miraculous, To meet someone; Out of all eight billion people in the world; Someone ultimately irreplaceable The way five year old me Would never have known She would meet you in eight years, Or the way Mr future had plans for us to actually start talking Life is funny: The way I never knew that after exactly nine months My heart would suddenly skip a beat When my closest but most alluring friend Simply passed by The way I never knew That you would pull me close and wrap your arms around me Deeply meaning something, And me doing literally anything: Giving you a manicure Just as an excuse to hold your hand Life is funny: The way feelings are real, The fact that emotions exist And the way Mr Future Doesn't give a single damn About anyone's feelings And mercilessly does his heartless job The more I think about resting on that rock hard chest, Laughing as I tickle your chin And crying in your arms as you hold me within I just wonder: Why can't love always win? Gazing up at those dark eyes Laughing till my stomach hurt Feeling loved just for me And never having to dust my skirt... Faint memories, And I know it hurts us both I'm really sorry you had to lose me.
