I met this girl
I met this girl with scars along her skin, She hid them under long sleeves like a sin. The scars were deep and bitter, It looks like a knife bit her. She had the sweetest smile, But now I see that it was gone in a short while. She seemed so cheerful, I bet her mom gives her an ear full. She was a pretty girl, Her hair had this cute twirl. The scars weren't scary, They were art that she had to carry. Her scars, they matched mine, And she'll heal over time.
