Big brown eyes that seemed to call for me her wide pearl smile that always welcomed me she was different she was perfect conversations with her felt like an escape from reality all of her little touches escorted by electricity I wanted to forever hold on to this feeling I wanted to wake up to her face once I finished dreaming She was my rose- colored glasses made me see our world as perfect singing birds suddenly appeared and the haunting darkness seemed to slowly disappear I dreamt of holding her in my arms in no future that I conjured up did she lack I did truly believe that she was my love sent from the heavens as a reward I fell for her bashful face my demons fell harder for how she held my hands I loved a girl once and it was everything I loved a girl once ... but now she's nowhere to be seen
