I love goodbye this time ❤️✨
Today I fell in love with goodbye, Not for its ease, but the reasons why. It taught me silence, it taught me pain, To forgive, forgive again and again. Goodbye to my friends, so gentle, so true, The voices that lifted me, carried me through. Goodbye to the love that once made me whole, Even while breaking the depths of my soul. This was not the ending I wished to find, But the heart decides, not the mind. It hurts to let go, yet I understand, Kindness lives in an open hand. Perhaps this life won’t bring us near, This chapter is closed, its ending clear. But in some dawn beyond the sky, Our souls may meet and not say goodbye. So I depart with a trembling breath, A heart that grieves, yet whispers thanks. Hold me softly in prayer, For love still lingers it’s always there. Love is not lost, it changes its face, It lives in silence, it shifts in space. Though parting wounds makes us cry, Love still survives… within goodbye.
