I like to draw too
I like to draw but in more ways than one I do pencil sketches still imperfect when done I paint with bright colors and with dull ones too and the things that I draw I draw all for you but I do my best work alone late at night sitting in silence and trying to fight the pain as it comes and the tears as they spew from under my eyelids my blood spilling too I carve out designs tapestries of the finest I carve out your name the letters divinest up and down my canvas I drag my tool struggling as I go with my arms in a duel one wanting to write while the other's in pain but knowing the blood has focused my brain not running in circles knowing not what to do not running in circles thinking about you I try not to speak or make even a sound for if I'm heard I might just be found so I tell not a soul of my drawings at night I keep my head low and my sleeves up tight so when people ask what I like to do or if they show me their wrists I say I like to draw too
