I like being single but..

I like being single, But sometimes I get lost looking at the sight of you, And despite all the broken trusts my heart was inviting someone new, I know we are just friends, But I always wish if you could see what my eyes hold in depths, I think you are really pretty, But when I hear your thoughts I could feel my mind going all weak, I think you are really funny, The type of funny who would make me laugh on days when things aren't going my way, I have never been good at writing poetries, But if the topic is you, Every stanza would talk about your smile which is mesmerizing for someone I wish you knew, Everytime you call my name and pass on that joke, I could feel my heart melting like butter on a freshly heated toast, I really like being single, But I add your last name to my first and see if we could mingle, I know you like being single, But I had like to inquire your heart, And wish that we could be together hand in hand, From the start.
