I knoww.
Most of my activities are fueled by you lately, From when I wake up to when I go to sleep, Or as the fancy would say, from dawn to dusk. For when did my dawn ever feel whole, Without a thought of you to wake me up? And when was dusk clearly dusk, If not to look forward to my dreams, About you. When I prepare to put on my clothes, I imagine the look that would rent your face If you saw me walking down towards you. Mark you, I do not know what you love, But the thought of you liking it makes me smile. When I pick a novel from the shelf, I think like you, and never like me Because you've consumed me whole. When I take a casual walk on the beach, Each step of mine is fueled by the thought of me and you hand in hand Not minding anyone, or anything, and just being us. Mark you, I don't know whether you love the beach. But your smile would match the brightness of the sky around the beach, flirting at the ocean Your eyes would match the twinkle of the ocean water, As it casually flirts back to its one true one But you aren't mine to think these things about And it's taking my whole being to kill it off.
