I just need a hug
A lot of times I yarn to be held, To be embraced With no one close enough to hold me, I burn from the inside a pain that can't be put to words I wonder if I'll ever let it out I wonder if I'll ever really heal or I'll just keep trying to bury it inside but even when buried it always finds a way to surface a moment alone, a moment of silence makes it even louder I don't need a lecture I just need silence accompanied by a tight, warm hug screaming 'you're loved, you're cared for, I got you' I just need someone to hold me and let me break I just need someone to rub their fingers between my hair while I let out the screams I've been holding back
