I Hope They Look Like You
Sometimes I sit and wonder What our children would be like together Even if they're not mine I'd hope to God our daughter will have your eyes I hope our son will have your humor And I hope they both inherit your laugh I beg and plead with the universe Our children will have your hair I demand them to have your smile And I pray for the day I hear Someone says they look just like you Because you are what I wish for when I was younger But now I hope that if we have a daughter She'll have your eyes
