I Haven't Cried

It has been a month I haven't cried, not once Not because the tears didn't show But because I didn't let them I promised not to let them Because it's been way too long I promised to move on I promise not to shed another For someone who isn't stuck here Like me for them But what if I don't cry ever? What if I don't feel sadness again? What if I don't feel anything again? I'd rather let that happen Than fill a torn sack with sand Maybe feeling nothing at all Has always been the solution © Melody
