I Hate You, but I Love You Too
Every time I look at you I pull back in disgust, You killed me the day that you turned on me, I know I shouldn’t get caught up in your lust, something pulls me closer, like I must, I must… I must get the hell away before you drown me in your shame, I’m tired of playing this so called “good” game, In fact, I’m tired of even hearing your name, If you were to die, my life would finally be sane… Sane, does that word mean anything to you, Did you forget it when you became untrue? I’m so glad you and I are through, I’m so glad I get to start over new… New? No I can’t even do that, I start over used and thrown back, Like a fish not big enough to catch, But my life is just beginning, and that’s a fact. A fact that feels so great, I’m glad I realized it fore it was too late, You put my mind in a bewildered state, The only thing I know… Is it’s you I HATE. The sad thing is, I still love you, Even though you were so untrue, I really don’t know what else to do, I guess I’ll hate you and love you too… I love you too, that is what you said, Were you just playing games with my head?
