I Hate Myself
I'm staring at you here. Anticipating a glance back. Too bad that idea hit the sack. Kept in mystery is what I lack. Even after picking up the slack. I thought I had some tact. I hate myself after realizing you don't care. I'm fine when alone. But, I feel like i can't condone. When my thoughts cross the line. The other side takes their time. It's getting old. Always being on hold. The answer to my questions, I'm waiting to be told. Forgive me if I act a little bold. I hate myself for needing a person beside me at all times. It grips me with fear. When there's nobody here. I ask myself, where? Were my actions not dear? You're still all the way over there. Why do I care? The end is as already near. I hate myself when everyone disappears. It's an endless cycle. At least I can say I recycle. Even after losing my sense of self. I hate myself for hating myself.
