I hate myself
In shadows, I find solace deep, Where self-doubt's tendrils slowly creep. I bear the weight of endless strife, A battle waged within my life. I hate myself, or so I say, In whispers, doubts, and night's dismay. But look beyond this shroud of pain, For self-love's flicker can remain. In darkness, seeds of strength can grow, As healing waters softly flow. Embrace the journey, don't despair, For self-compassion's always there. Each flaw and scar, they tell a tale, Of resilience, we shall prevail. In loving arms, we find our way, To brighter, kinder, hopeful day. So don't be bound by self-contempt, Let self-love be your soul's intent. In time, you'll see, you're worth much more, A love, a light, worth fighting for.
