i found in dark
By sunlight I vanish, a ghost in the crowd, But under the moon, I laugh out loud. A skip, a twirl, in shadows I dance, Each step a secret, each move a trance. They see me not when the day is bright, But thrill at my grace in the arms of night. To some, I’m a whisper, to others a scare, Yet I’m just a soul seeking someone to care. The moon knows my name, she watches me spin, With silver lined tears hiding deep within. My joy is twisted, my pain is art, Painted in silence across a restless heart. One more night, I ask the sky, To dance till dawn before I cry. For in this haunted, wicked grace, I find a home I find a place.
