I FORGIVE ME
I forgive myself for loving wrong, For being a bad daughter all along. I forgive me for not learning from my mistakes, For the heartaches and the tears it takes. π No tone can define this inner strife, As I reflect on the chapters of my life. But I choose to forgive and let go, To heal the wounds that continue to show. π In free verse, I find solace and release, As I navigate through my own inner peace. No syllable count can capture the weight, Of the forgiveness I grant, my own self-slate. π I forgive myself for the pain I caused, For the moments when I was deeply flawed. With each mistake, a lesson I've learned, A chance to grow, to evolve, unearned. π No language can fully express this grace, As I forgive myself, I find my own space. English may be the words I choose, But forgiveness transcends any linguistic cues. π So, I forgive myself for loving wrong, For being a bad daughter, for so long. I release the past, embrace the now, With forgiveness, I'll continue to grow somehow. π
