I Flew High As A Bee
I flew high as a bee Searching for garden plots Over a vast, verdant lea I saw many flowerpots Hanging and swinging by In the lofty August air And in that cerulean sky Those winds I could barely bear My wings grew tired amid soar But I could not stop here Upon weariness and sore The orchard getting near I saw the sun behind the hill Near the end of noon My destination nearer still Beneath a rising moon And with striving wings I've flown Towards a flower golden The most majestic I have known Those petals she unfolden
