I Embrace the Unknown
As time slips away, my strength begins to decay, I can feel Death drawing near, its presence cast in gray. Every breath I take grows faint, life slowly slips away, My body weakens, skin pale, I'm on the path to decay. Memories flicker like dying stars, moments fading away, Whispers of the past, regrets and hopes begin to weigh. In this dance of life and death, I meet it face to face, Devoid of fear, I embrace the unknown's eternal embrace. Time's relentless grip tightens, its hold I cannot sway, But within my spirit glimmers, refusing to fray. For in the twilight of existence, a sense of peace displays, Embracing the journey's end, I find solace in the haze. Life's intricate symphony reaches its final refrain, As I surrender to the inevitable, release my earthly chain. Yet in the realm of shadows, a new dawn may find its way, For death is not an end, but a beginning, they say. And so, as life slips away, its decay a subtle part, I embrace the unknown, allowing Love to mend my shattered heart.
