I Don't, but I Do
Another long day ahead of us, Yet we still refuse to flip the page, Clothes laid out for today, but still in a fit of rage, These reality checks came early, but still not a visit paid, I mean, it's insane, I feel gravity pulling on my heart, How did we manage to get this far, This like Russian Roulette, We're both praying for the gun to discharge, Bonded by toxicity, how can we separate, Images too graphic to even illustrate, Negative forces we couldn't penetrate, There's a real chance we end up dead this way, Counseling was a failure, All the lies, trust issues, and name calling, you can bring those, This "Pursuit of Happiness," On the road dodging potholes, Just to run into a sinkhole, I really don't wanna be with you, But every time I try to walk away, My knees get weak when I think of you, Praying one day, whatever this is, can be beautiful, I'm pass tolerance, I've just grown to get used to you.
