I didn't want to leave
I didn't want to leave. why can't you understand that? I never wanted to walk away from you. I was gonna die. I was drowning. being pulled lower and lower. running out of breath trying to find strength. strength to continue swimming. and instead of you helping me, you watched me reach out. you held a float but stood still and looked down at my drowning self. I didn't want to leave. I had to. but you'll never accept that. so I'll always be someone who hurt you. I'll always be someone you'll hate. and I'm sorry I left you. but I know I didn't make a mistake.
