I didn't think you'd care
I didn't think you'd care when I slid the curtain rope around my neck and mimed hanging myself. I didn't think you'd care but your words took me by surprise "be careful," not reprimanding, but concerned, almost worried I didn't think you'd care I didn't stop to think that maybe just maybe my existence might mean something to you. that the idea of my death would cause you pain. I didn't think you'd care so I saved myself by wearing the rope on my head as a crown and smiling like the idiot I am. I didn't think you'd care but now I know you do and it makes me very happy.
