I can't seem to face facts
You're always in my mind Running faster than water Our memories play like a movie Each part hits harder than the last Anxiety strikes, panic takes hold, I sway back and forth Trying to hold on to you Voices whisper in the coldness of night Claiming and screaming you never cared Perhaps they're right, doubt creeps in It won't mend anything now Longing gazes left for her,as mine end Sorry for my reaction to the amazing news I bet she has the ring now The hoodie, the texts.. so vain I'm puzzled, why am I waiting for a love A love that's strained Once your bravest solider Now hate fills my head Yet I wake, and write poems for you instead Our chapter should end now Maybe it will, once we stop appearing in each other's dreams
