I can't please everyone
Although I have love in me, that mutual respect for everyone, I've come to realize, that I can't please everyone. There are those who truly love me, who see beyond my flaws, Who know that I'm a human too, with weaknesses, and scars. But then there are those, who expect perfection from me, Who judge me harshly, and condemn me, without empathy. They don't see the love in my heart, the kindness that I share, They only see my mistakes, and the times that I've fallen short, and failed. But I've learned to let go, of the need to please them all, To focus on those who believe in me, who love me, despite my flaws, and my fall. They know that I'm not perfect, that I stumble, and I stray, But they love me anyway, and help me find my way. Even Yah, the Almighty, told the people to pick up a stone, If no one among them had sinned, if they were perfect, and without a flaw, or a stain. But we all know, that we're not perfect, that we all make mistakes, That we all stumble, and fall, but it's how we rise, that makes the difference, and the breaks. So I'll focus on those, who love me, and accept me for who I am, Who see beyond my flaws, and my mistakes, and love me just the same. I'll cherish their love, and their support,
