I am not enough
I am not enough I am not enough, My mind battles with itself every day, Struggling to find worth in my existence, Fighting against the demons that say I am worthless , I try to put on a brave face, But inside I am crumbling, The weight of my own thoughts , Dragging me down into the darkness, I feel like I am drowning, In a sea of self-doubt and despair, No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to break free from this mental prison, I reach out for help, But it feels like no one understands, They tell me to just get over it, But they don't see the war raging inside my own mind, I am tired of pretending, that I am okay, I am tired of feeling like a burden , To those around me who can't comprehend my struggle, I am helpless when the demons come to play, I am defeated by my mental health battles I am weak, wrapped up in chains as they rattle, When will i be strong enough to overcome, The storm is brewing for another battle has just begun.
