I am love and I let go
How does it feel, now that I’m no longer in your world? The one who loved you with a heart unguarded, Who saw your shadows and still stayed. You hurt me deeper than I knew I could bear. But I survived. And maybe you never asked how I was doing Because you already stopped caring. Maybe you loved the comfort I gave you, Not me. But I won't chase a ghost. I won't hold space for someone who let go of me first. I won't be a placeholder in someone else's silence. So I release you — From my body, From my mind, From the place in my heart that still aches for a return. Because I deserve a love that stays. That doesn't flinch when it gets real. That doesn't make me prove I'm worthy. I wasn't just a chapter. I was the whole storm, And the calm that followed. I was love. And now, I choose to be that love For myself.
