I am done
I am done hoping you will someday change. I. am done believing you will somehow age. 'Cause in this "battlefield" we both called "love" We fought too many rounds and broke too many hopes. I'd rather be the one to throw away the towel, Than watch you continually break your vow. 'Cause when it all started, it appeared to be alright. You promised to make me the sole priority in your life And said you'd never hide anything from me You'd rather give up social media than be set free. And here we are now, me being lied to and alone. And all because you wouldnt show your fucking phone. Afraid of what I might find in there, weren't you? But if you are that innocent, that shouldn't be an issue. Not only that your phone to me is straight taboo, But when it comes to my kids, you always act a fool. Instead of trying to be friends, or at least ignore them You only bully and insult them, and then act like the victim! No, baby, I am done. I am finally done. Done with trying to find excuses, for one, Or blame it on your stupid traumatic past And still end up being put, somehow, last! Cause when your friends are out with you I could call hundreds of times and still not be answered to. I am not and will not be a fool. DONE
