Hail to you oh most glorious Lord Helios Suchos who sits on his throne of many flowers and delights in the scents of poplar and myrrh. The deathless lord of the holy sun which shines in the endless sky. The holy father of the seasons who hold the day in his right hand and the night in his left hand. Spear-bearing lord of the fertile Faiyum, yours is the power and the glory and the blessing and the majesty forever. The fruits of the holy Nile sing a praise of your glory. Hear me, my lord, for I need your aid. Grant me a good life and safety evermore. Hear me, oh great god
