Hush , my baby
A cry of an innocent little baby echoes in the silence of the night. "Hush, my little angel, hush," his mother whispers, rocking him tight. She holds him close, her heart so warm, gently swaying, safe from harm. His innocent eyes, wide and bright, gaze at her in the dim moonlight. The world is cruel, harsh, and cold, yet in his eyes, she sees pure gold a spark of hope, a light that gleams, like tiny diamonds full of dreams. Slowly, softly, his lashes fall, peaceful slumber calls his name. Little by little, safe in her arms, he drifts to sleep, free from harm.
