If, in some perfect world, you did Would you wake up everyday Excited because you get to see me Would you hurriedly walk between classes Just so you can walk past me Would you notice every outfit I have on Every time I change out my earrings Would you rush to sit next to me at lunch And rest your leg up against mine Would your heart skip a beat and flutter When my notification pops up on your phone Would you tell all your friends about this beautiful girl And never shut up about me Would you take every opportunity to hug me And to tell me you love me Would you write poetry about me every night With no intent on ever showing me?
