How many times?
How many times do I have to tell myself? In his eyes she is greater than me In his eyes she is more precious than me In his eyes she is the world she could ever be How many times do I have to tell myself? I can't possess what she have just for him to look at me I can't do what she does just for him to admire me I can't be her for just him to love me How many times do I have to tell myself? The word 'we' do not exist between us There is no electric tension between us And only my unrequitted love is the lone air hovering above us Is it that hard to gaslight our minds if our hearts tells the opposite? When thy minds says, 'fool, let it slip away.' When thy minds says, 'fool, forget him and stay away.' But thy heart always says, 'love him, it's better this way.'
