How Life Works
In moments of life we want to share, Why life's been so unfair? A candle light that used to glow, How ugly it ended up, slow. Echoes run down to my spine, Reminding me to fall in line. I hear them, unbothered by their voice, Because I can sense it’s my choice. A scrappy stone bleeds in my sight, I wonder, why should I cry? A heavy sigh like I’m carrying the world, right? Never been there, so I tried. I climbed the mountains, Thick and tall. The sweat and breathtaking fall, Wondering, is this how life works at all? There were days I used to cry, Another tomorrow I used to shine. I still don’t know where I fit, Wondering, is this how life should be?
