How could you
I feel as if I can't remember the night that it happened, although it's all still so vivid. Your touch is forever still on my skin, the tears I had shed that night. The quiet breaths I took, the fear that lingered deep within me. Wanting to speak up, wanting to say no. Praying it wouldn't happen again, but as I feel your hands slip underneath my clothes I know that my prayers haven't been answered. My chest rises and then falls as my breath gets heavier, my heart beat fastens. I wish I could speak up, but it feels like I'm stuck. How could you do this to a kid, how could you tear up your family without a second thought. How could you do this to your daughter, how could you leave me with this never ending pain. How could you hurt me so easily. I was just a kid.
