How could it be a mess?
How did I get here without you as mine? Was it all just a fantasy, lost in the line? I can’t help my anger; it swells like the tide, My love never limited, it’s deep down inside. But I won’t lie; I also want a kiss, See you when I get home, or share dinner bliss. They say it’s not “the right way,” but why can’t they see? I saw us together, just you and me. For me, it’s not and will never be just a mess; I want you to come; tonight at twelve, no less. Falling apart with love is true, Sincere wish to keep the promises with you. What will become of all our fantasies? Beauty glimpses that your heart used to see. There will be no day that I so wanted to be. Only I can know That your tears just stopped. Still walking through thoughts where our memories dropped. I shouldn’t have sat here to ponder these wonders. Where are they now? Just lost in the thunder? Did you want it for a while—Just a beautiful lie? To spend time together on warm summer nights? Not remembering this cold world that enjoys our sobs, My love?
