HOW ARE YOU?
How are you? Wrapped by my blanket, I asked myself Tired, but can't sleep, two minutes before 12:00 When was the last time I heard that question? Maybe I look fine in everyone's vision Sometimes, I wonder if they do really care Immersing and sinking, completely in despair I guess I am that good of wearing this mask How are you? Is the question they never ask Honestly, I don't know what is the right answer Am I fine? Am I good? Or in pieces, I am shattered I guess, how I feel is not that important How are you? Here, living my life in torment I hunger for someone who can hear my cries A person who will know "I am fine" is a big lie Someone who can see what my eyes want to tell How are you? Been drowning in a deep dark well On this vast ocean where I am entirely alone On my little boat, everyday, sailing on my own Well, seems to me that I have to get used to this How are you? Hoping I could feel a true bliss At least, in the end of each day, I always have "me" It's best to have yourself as your greatest buddy But to hear that question feels so surreal How are you? Three words that can help me heal
