House of Shadows
In this house of hollow dreams, Where echoes scream and silence schemes, They wear their masks of saintly grace, While digging graves in every place.Their words, they cut like poisoned blades, Each smile a trap, a cruel charade. They build their walls of blame and shame, And whisper lies to shift the blame.I carry the weight of their twisted love, A burden no one’s worthy of. My mind, a maze of fractured light, Twists into shadows, day and night.I see them when the room is still, Their voices haunt, their lies fulfill, Every fear, every doubt, every cry— I wonder, do they even hear me die?But in their eyes, they’re the broken ones, Martyrs beneath the burning suns. While I’m the ghost they’ve left to roam, Trapped in this cursed, forsaken home. They drown in tears they never shed, While I’m the living, walking dead. A puppet in their twisted play, With strings of sorrow, frayed and gray. The world outside, it turns away, No one to hear what I can’t say. So I drift in madness, lost at sea, In a house of shadows—there’s no escape for me.
