Hotel
My pores open up Only to fill with dust Eyes are open too Tears turning into crust I really need a bath But people will awake If I just sit in silence My soul will start to shake There's dirt underneath I knock it off before bed Crawling on the mattress And crawling on my head The mud on the floor Is here because of leaks I try to wear shoes But it makes it hard to sleep I have a friend with me too He doesn't have hands He sleeps in the bed And attention he demands He is better off than me Because I am not a wolf I'll take him out again So he can mark his turf I wish that I was clean In a bed I thought was nice In a house where I could be A little warmer than a light Winters almost here And the weather doesn't stop I'll just close the window And stare up to the top
