Hoping for a miracle
in times of unrest and hopelessness we hope for a miracle like a rose blooming on a cold winter day so rare yet so beautiful we look for a miracle in the darkest of times yet we fail to see one in the happiest times we imagine a miracle like a shooting star, visiting the earth once in a blue moon yet we fail to imagine it in the simplest of things in the clouds in the sky in the mountains in the rivers in everything and everyone that surrounds us instead of looking for a miracle in the darkest and rarest of times we should look for a miracle in the most common of things and in each other we are all a miracle for we are made in the image and likeness of God we are the similar yet different familiar yet foreign we are the art and God is the artist
