Hopeless Romantic Dying
In shadows deep, unrequited love does dwell, Aching heart, a tale of woe it does tell. With every beat, a longing unfulfilled, A love unreturned, my soul is chilled. π But love's not all, for drugs have claimed your heart, A dark addiction tearing us apart. Mental illness grips your fragile mind, Leaving me lost, searching for what I'll find. π Emotional abuse, a venomous sting, Lies and manipulation, the pain they bring. Gaslighting, twisting truth, distorting my view, I'm left questioning if what I feel is true. π "You love drugs more than me," I softly cry, As I watch you fade, not knowing who am I. I'm trapped, unable to leave or to stay, Too weak to break free, I'm held in dismay. π Yet still, I can't stop loving you, it's true, You've changed me, someone I no longer knew. Lost in this chaos, I'm a stranger too, But my love for you remains, strong and true. πβ€οΈ Though hurt and pain may color every line, A glimmer of hope, I tell myself lies, For in this darkness, I'll search for the light, But history has shown me, you just won't bite.
