Hope or hopeless
The world seems to be crumbling down Right before my very eyes And at this point, all I feel is helpless With a sprinkle of being hopeless All the darkness seems to assemble in the not so blue skies The brightness fading more rapidly than even the town Every attempt at recovery has proven useless However the decadence remains cruel and ruthless Gnawing at any iota of hope and goodness Aiming for a sprouting out of newness All I once beheld as perfect and beautiful Within the twinkle of an eye, shattered to nothing Should I hope for faith to revive everything? Or accept that we'd all be doomed to nothing ©Mega_word
