Hope is a Person
I met Hope I met her on her bathroom floor Holding her hair rubbing her back I met Hope on her couch Watching movies laughing I met Hope on her bed Muttering to each other our deep secrets I met Hope in her car Scream singing songs at night I mer Hope She has brown honey eyes Dark hair that she likes to dye And a smile I can never hide from Her laugh is infectious Her touch is gentle She's taller than me but not by much I met Hope But that's not her name Her name is what I mutter half asleep Her name is what I sigh holding her hair back Her name is what I laugh rolling my eyes Her name is the one I cry out whenever I need her I met Hope I love hope And she loves me I hold Hope I kissed Hope I laugh with Hope I sing with Hope Hope is a person Hope is my person
