Hope in Adversity

The guiding light in the darkest dark The mild breeze at the end of the tunnel Hope doesn't sleep nor slumber Hope doesn't fall by the wayside nor surrender . Hope is dreaming of the future When the present is gloomy To believe is to hope For Life without hope is doomed. Hope sparkles in adversity Blooms like the sunflower To souls willing to embrace its torments In hope, we find solitude Darkness isn't meant for eternity It torments the feeble, emboldens the brave Shapes the inner man to grandeur But hope is the pillar of light that gives succour.
