Hope I can make it Mine
Whenever I give my all, I return in pieces, A shattered heart, Filled with quiet doubt. I wonder if I’ve been jinxed, If love and I were never meant to align, Because every time I reach for it, It slips away, leaving cracks behind. We don’t seem to get along, Love and I are like strangers at war, Each attempt ends the same, With me breaking a little more. Still, I give my all, Even knowing how it ends, Because somewhere in this shattered heart, Hope refuses to bend. And maybe one day, through all the pain, Through every loss and every scar, I’ll find a love that chooses me… And hope I can finally make it mine.
