hope brings pain
Hope brings pain as all was done in vain. Perhaps you will feel like me, my past, present, a pain vast as the sea. All was not lost this time, for there was a way for me to shine. A fool I was, how could I be so blind? All the lies closed it in my mind. Tears are not valued by mankind; they fall to temptation that unwinds. Who am I to give such thought? I was always one they forgot. Yet I smile knowing they forget, for I know one day they'll regret. In silence, I find my peace, as their memories of me cease
