hope and light

I saw a feather flying in the air, for it went swiftly, losing sight, with fleeting thoughts, I stared but could not follow it in its flight. I saw paper airplanes and boats floating away with dreams and nightmares, but life without them would be broken and barren, A flood of thoughts came lashing over me, and filled my eyes with unshed tears. I saw footprints on the sand lives of great men all remind us we can make our lives sublime, and departing leave behind us footprints on the sand of time. I saw the light of stars, The night has come, sinking silently, that untouchable beacons of hope, that shines on us like scattered - Vidya daisies in the sky...
