Hope
The wind is blowing hard, into my face. Everyone has gone and left me, without a trace. It starts to rain hard, pelting my skin. This storm is too strong, I cannot win. I look around for shelter, I need to hide. The land is cold and barren, so far and wide. I search through the darkness, what is that I see? There is light in the distance and it is beckoning me. I run through the hurt and pain, it's almost in my reach. I feel the warmth from within, I hear the tide on the beach. I finally reach the door and run at full speed. I see everyone that I love. I see all those I need. For I am not alone, they never left my side. Depression made me think they'd gone but it had lied. They've taught me that they are always there and shown me so much love. So never let that darkness win and always rise above. By Christine OH
