Hope
I once promised myself to never let anyone in but then you fell beneath the cracks and before I realised my mistake ,you were already there, walking the road towards my heart. All the briar roses I had planted ,lost their thorns upon your touch yet I stood there silently watching what else you would do.,for fear had paralysed me. Then the song I used to sing- now long trapped within it's muffled room- began to softly hum,and forced to play along, I let hope in. A fragile thing with fluttering wings, Still I did not know wich way to go , but then I cast my eyes upon your face, Still there, inside my inner cage, (With) Hands outstretched in silent phrase and as hope was fluttering still, I took a leap of faith. To let you wander free and see how our hearts would shape.
