Hope

Cold breeze on a hot summer day A roofed home in the rain A hot fire in The snow A good friend you know These things and more Are why I'm very sure Hope is always there Even when life feels unfair When it rains There still will be some bright sunny days When it snows There will still be a warm fires glow When you are feeling down I still have my friends around I'm is grqful for the things That hope brings For without it you would have nothing But an emptiness inside your being So smile and laugh a little more For the future is unsure With hope I feel a warmth Knowing tomorrow doesn't have to have so many thorns I'm not happy yet But hope makes me excited for what comes next
