honour, a useless pursuit?

is honor a virtue worth pursuing? honor is based on making up to your promise, on being reflective even when losing a word, speaking of a person who has no lack of strength true as the creation of the universe forever holding up a mirror seeing the ugly in his own face is it's currency of enough value to acquire in our current wordly state well, respect is for the ones with virtue and as of late respect is a lacking resource which, when gained, can be of help creating such an attracting force an attracting force between the mother and it's welp When you have honor you are the pup people wanting to give you and you, able to soak it all up without honor you will end up seeking a pup of your own clinging to it's very existence as I have this conversation with myself the conclusion comes daunting onto me as, besides the value in a seek for glory, the thought of honor gives me peace I look up and see God holding up a mirror
